Below you have one of my latest custom logo design works, including a brief and some thoughts about my inspiration. You are more than welcome to comment on it!Brief
The project [and logo] is called 'Move It'. It is a project for young people who are documenting a theater performance. They are creating content for a website - videos, audio, interviews, text etc etc. The project is all about 'Dance, Body Image and Movement'.
The aim of the website was to create something using easily available tools and technologies - YouTube for Video, Flickr for photos, Wordpress and a Pre-made wordpress theme. So it shows the young people that in theory they could do this themselves!
There are four geographical areas involved with kids from each area, Wolverhampton, Darlaston, Sandwell & Dudley - these are all locations in the area called 'The Black Country'.
It should be mainly text based. We don't really want a reference to dance or body in the logo - just focus on 'movement' for your concept - might be tricky! I think it could be one of those logos with hidden meaning that is not so obvious.
